Review on 🌊 FLUENTPOWER 1/2HP Sump Pump: Efficient Submersible Utility Pump for Basement Floods, Cellars, Pools, Ponds, Hot Tubs - Automatic Operation with Integrated Float Switch by Justin Hill

Revainrating 4 out of 5

FAST pool pump.

This pump drains the pool fast! I used a 2 inch PVC backwash pipe that drained from a 10,000 gallon play pool in about 5.5 hours. Much faster than I remember renting and faster than my last model when using 2 attached hoses. What I don't like about the pump is that it leaves about 4 inches of water at the bottom of the pool due to the auto shut off. You can hold it at an angle and get 1 inch more, but it's still annoying. As I'm currently trying to remove hard water from my pool and refill with new water, this was fine for my purposes. But for someone who needs to fetch almost every inch of water this wouldn't be a suitable pump hence 4 stars instead of 5. Nice that there is an auto shut off so it doesn't burn out which is my last pump did when a friend was using it and forgot to save. Other The downside is the included screw attachment which I don't think will work with a garden hose unless you maybe cut off the nipple. I'm not sure I went with the 2" backwash hose this time, and I'm glad I did. It was the perfect size for this device. Also I used 2 pieces of 50 feet https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IT2W8NI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and used a hose clamp and a 1.5 inch piece of PVC to to make a 100 foot hose. and it still pumped really fast! It's a great device for the price. I think I paid about $140 for my last pump and it wasn't as fast as this one.
