Review on NGe Aquarium Isolation Hatching Incubator by Alicia Hall

Lacked the appearance of detailed instructions as pictured. Some steps are not included so I made a video and hopefully it will be helpful. I used my pea brain to figure it out. Okay, actually it's a five dollar product. But it helps, at least for me. As far as I know it worked perfectly, and no free fried snacks for dear mama. The day after I placed my female molly I noticed tiny fry resting on the net. Perhaps this isolation made mom feel comfortable enough to dump some of the kids. At first the juveniles were tired and stayed down, but they could and easily climbed back through the divider. The trellis is huge compared to most grow tents, but it offers some protection until the brood risks climbing up. But logically, any gap that the juveniles can pass also allows them to return with their mother. Its main function is to provide a barrier for the mother. Luckily, I've already uninstalled Ma Cannibal and had no problems. Important notes: When assembling, make sure the handles on both parts of the frame are on the same side, unless you want a set of suction cups to face the wrong way. Also, the grate (brood trap?) has a slot to insert a divider if you want to separate two adult fish. Make sure the slot is facing up or you won't be able to install the divider without disassembling almost everything. I got lucky and got it right the first time. In addition, suction cups are attached to the net. I had no problems with this product other than the mesh detaching from the elastic. So I ordered a replacement and it arrived promptly.
