*****Edited to add*****02-12-2018I recently bought more buckets and when choosing I did something I do without closing it remember support for others using gamma sealed lids. I run my fingers over the bucket lid sealing surface and only smooth buckets with no sharp edges, nicks, etc. In other words, I carefully select buckets for the cleanest possible sealing surface. Another tip that might help. some if you lightly lubricate the o-ring with Dow111 silicone grease, which will extend the life of your o-ring. I have been using Gamma lids for many years and they truly are the best storage option, quick and easy to open and use every day. From fishing buckets to storing sleeping bags in a safe, rodent and moisture resistant environment to tool buckets and more, they're the duct tape and crazy glue in the bucket world. I've never had a damaged seal or a leaking bucket either. Now to the seller. Items shipped quickly from Poly Farm were packaged well and they were considerate and professional enough to include information to contact them if there was a problem with my order. Poly Farm has earned my repeated recommendation and now whenever I need Gamma Caps or any other product I will check them out first. Great company and great product!
