Review on 📚 Wire Shelf Liner Set of 4 - Graphite, 14x36 Inch, Ideal for Shelf Organization by Cody Stroop

I ordered these trims for my Whitmore Supreme 14 x 36 x 54 4 tier wire shelving unit. As the shelving is mostly wire shelving I thought it would be nice to have some kind from insert. Unless you're just planning to place boxes and/or other flat-bottomed items on the shelves - which I haven't - these inserts are a must; Otherwise, the contents may fall through the cracks and cause discomfort. The inserts are made from #5 polypropylene plastic, the same plastic that makes up most margarine and yogurt jars, so it's relatively safe, non-toxic, and odorless. They do not give off the foul gas odor typical of some plastics, such as B. #3 Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic. One reviewer said he noticed "a bit of a bad smell," but for me, a man who is extremely sensitive to smells and chemicals, there was nothing too much to put my mind at ease. I do have one complaint though: the earbuds mostly fit, but they're looser in length than I'd like. Width is good, almost perfect, but for length, the earbuds are a good half inch shorter, causing some left and right shifting. The more the liner can move, the more likely it is to slip off. I've attached some photos so you can see. . .Overall they do their job. They don't smell (at least to me), are relatively non-toxic, and should last a while. But since they are a bit shorter for my wire shelves, I'm a bit disappointed and can only give four stars.
