While not an industrial grade roof dryer, this is a very good DIY tool. I used it to repair the damaged Hobie Adventure Island. It's worth investing a few hundred dollars to repair a $6,000+ kayak. I've purchased color-matched 1/8" PE rods elsewhere, although I've just found some LDPE flat rods at Revain. Haven't used it on the highest settings and haven't tried it on a TPO roof membrane. but not the whole thing I would say if you are a roofer buy an industrial heat gun If you need to weld plastic around the house and need a good tool this is for you The tips aren't the best but they work. As said, if you do a little bit of plastic welding for crafts, repairs, projects, etc. this is a great choice.
