DEFINITIONS OF DESIGN AND PRODUCTION.

A SERIOUS error prevents correct assembly. This rating refers to the 16-inch trio. The two parallel bars at the front and back of each shelf are too long to properly assemble these shelves. The shelves should fit INSIDE and touch or have a SMALL SPACING between the vertical legs at the ends. Because the two shelf wires are cut too long, the shelves will need to be offset from the vertical legs. Instead, the two shelf wires should be either in front of or behind the vertical legs. I'll attach pictures. The last 3 pictures show the ends of the three shelves. The first picture shows how the wire should be placed, the second picture shows the wire outside the end post and the last picture shows the wire of the shelf inside the end post. with four protruding ends on each shelf. But it wasn't worth my time and effort to get the job done. Instead, I just assembled the shelves askew. They're not as sturdy as they could be, but I don't put anything heavy in them. On shelves. The second issue is shelf placement. Regardless of how you install the shelves, you end up with either a narrow shelf or a narrow space between the cabinet and the bottom of the first shelf. You can use this narrow space or not. I don't, so this device wastes square inches of space. To get rid of the flimsy shelf I put a shelf on top of the frame and then turned everything upside down. The "upper" basket rests directly on the shelf. Then I installed two more shelves. 4 legs stick out in the air. But I don't have an unnecessarily thin shelf. The shelf I placed this shelf on was too narrow to use with a vertical shelf. Two front legs would stick up in the air. This is why I hate shelves with support legs. It is much better to connect the legs together at shelf level on each side for a more secure base. Even if the front legs would fit on the shelf, they would be too close to the edge for comfort. When a leg falls off a shelf, everything collapses. By attaching legs on each side, front to back, if one or both front legs slide off the shelf, the impact will not cause the shelf to tip over. To make it possible. To make this a five star product: 1. The front and back shelf wires on each shelf need to be trimmed approximately 1/16 inch or more at each horizontal bar. 2. Make each leg about 2 inches. longer to get rid of the awesome short space under the bottom shelf. 3. Connect the front and rear legs at shelf height on either side for stability. 4. Either add enough shelves so you can assemble a block with all the short shelves, or sell the shelves separately if someone wants to buy 2 extra shelves. I'm including additional pictures from the manufacturer showing that the front and rear shelf two wires are intended to be shorter.
