Review on Faria 32805 Euro 7000 Tachometer by Darrin Lucas

Purchased to replace a tachometer that I burned out by running the outboard without a battery. The motor doesn't have a voltage regulator, so the voltage rose and ruined the tachometer. This is an exact replacement for the one I burned. So be careful as over voltage will ruin this speedometer. This tachometer is configurable to support different types of stators on different outboards. It comes with all the hardware needed for installation and the backlight works well. All in all a good tach, but its design is a bit "frugal" so I'm not sure how long it will last. The original tachometer was less than a year old and is still in good condition so only time will tell how long it will last.
