Enough features you want at a good price

I find that when it comes to portable monitors, you basically have to find one that meets enough of your criteria at a reasonable price, and to be honest, this one does it for me. The resolution/aspect ratio is really good. Apple and every other big laptop company is going to 10/16 for a reason. The resolution is also excellent for this size. At this size, the power consumption of 4K isn't really needed and that only adds to the cost. Had I picked something about it that I didn't like, the HDR performance is pretty mediocre and I don't think I saw the VESA certification anyway, but for the price I really don't think it's a problem, at least does it have that it . Also, the colors are a bit warm so you might have to adjust this yourself, but it's doable. A great all-rounder for the price.
