Review on Samlex America BG 40 Battery Guard by Steve Douglas
My Samlex BG-40 Battery Guard only works occasionally.
I am using 200W 12V solar panels with a PWM charge controller. I programmed the BG-40 to position 9, ie disconnect at 12V and reconnect at 13V. Often it does not turn off at 12V. When it fails, my Samlex inverter (model PST-300-12) shuts down at around 10.5V and reconnects at 13V.
