I bought these to keep the cover in place on the couch. The bedspread had to be tucked between the mattress and the bed frame along the backrest every time someone sat or lay down on the bed. I bought them and used all 8. I left the shortest hanging strap, attached a clip to the back of the case, wrapped it once around the couch frame on one side of the support bar, and then attached the other end of the clip to the back cover about 2 inches from the first clamp removed on the other side of the same support rod. They hold up great. Now I don't have to keep tucking the bedspread between the mattress and the wrought iron frame, which was a nuisance because space was so tight and I had to push the bed away from the wall to even get to it. So glad it worked.
