Easy install but if you've hooked up a few consider a sidepod series instead so you have more room to cram all your 12/3 wires in there. Otherwise super easy, cut a 4" hole, pop in and you're done. They fit more evenly than old school bulbs and don't get hot. However, I had to change the switches, some of the older switches don't work well with LEDs, and they continued to cut at low levels Although I'll say that no matter how bright it is. I've replaced four 3" 50 watt lights with them and don't need any other overhead lighting at all in 15x20 rooms. Overall pretty cool, I'll update when they do screwing it up too soon.all those onboard leds are good til they die.the only downside really.
