Excellent electric headlights

I used to use ultra thin Sunco headlights. This is almost the same lantern but with the body attached. They're pretty easy to install - just drill a 4" hole and plug it in. They contain nuts for wires. The ground wire is mysteriously not stripped like the other two wires, but that doesn't matter. They are very bright and fade fairly evenly. I would recommend them.

Avoid - they flicker like crazy

Well I guess you get what you pay for. A dozen $60 LED downlights seemed like a good deal, but it's not worth it. Once installed they all flicker - I suspect poor quality electronic drivers that are either overheating or just poorly designed. same attitude.

Easy install great price but flickering

The lamps are very easy to install and look great. Also dimmable so you can change the lighting at will. I took off a few stars because out of two packs of 12, four (4) bulbs "flicker" intermittently. It's not a problem with the wiring or the installation itself (the wires are the same as the others I connected and installed the same way). Tried to demolish and reinstall, flickering remained. It's not a constant flicker, but it definitely comes and goes DAILY - sometimes worse than other times.

Good light, weak clips

I wanted to replace ten 4-inch halogen lamps with LEDs in my living room. the amount of light in the room. The problem I have with this light is that the clips are weak and can pop out. I tried moving the wiring in the ceiling to accommodate the light and when that was done there was no light left. Perhaps this light would have been better with more space in the ceiling, but it was very noticeable when the light was being moved. I ended up returning them and buying a different brand and the…

Brighter than expected

Easy install but if you've hooked up a few consider a sidepod series instead so you have more room to cram all your 12/3 wires in there. Otherwise super easy, cut a 4" hole, pop in and you're done. They fit more evenly than old school bulbs and don't get hot. However, I had to change the switches, some of the older switches don't work well with LEDs, and they continued to cut at low levels Although I'll say that no matter how bright it is. I've replaced four 3" 50 watt lights with them and…

Inexpensive, but for several reasons.

They are inexpensive for a number of reasons. First, the wires are short, the ground wire is only 3 inches long, making the nut difficult to install. Second, only 1/8 to 1/4 inch of the wires are stripped, which is insufficient for a proper wire nut installation. You need to continue stripping the wires, which is very difficult as they are short to begin with. Thirdly, the wire jacket is made of a very hard plastic and does not come off easily, a few strands break off easily. Fourth, I've only…

Excellent quality, easy to install, very bright

I bought 12 packs of these 4 inch recessed LED downlights with integrated junction box. They were very easy to install and came with wire nuts and instructions. They were a bit disappointed with the size of the box as it was tight as I had the 2 pack Romex which came in the daisy chain box. But she did. I plan on getting a dimmer to control the brightness as they are nice and bright. They have a great even pattern and light up my countertop nicely (SEE PICTURE). I will be buying the 6" version…
