I wrote some bad reviews before purchasing this smart home garage bridge. I already had a MyQ on a Chamberlain garage door opener and remember the setup was unintuitive but ultimately successful. Conclusion: It works very well if you take your time, follow the instructions and set it up properly. MUCH depends on your home network. If your Wi-Fi signal is poor in the garage, you will get poor results and the door will not always work. So in that case, get a WiFi extender, but don't blame the device for not working. I can also confirm that it supports LiftMaster and Chamberlain garage door openers interchangeably. This is the same device in a different case. So if you find it cheaper, take it. If you have a two-door garage with either of these brands, it will work with either. Most importantly, read and follow the instructions. Your garage door should already have the MyQ module installed and is just a bridge to add openers to your smart home system. I think some people misunderstand its purpose leading to confusion and bad reviews. Installation is not bulletproof so take your time.
