I bought this product primarily for the mop as I was looking for a way to clean the windshield of my fairly large SUV. The adjustable stem was just the right length. Others were shorter or longer than necessary. The stem is adjusted by twisting the stem until it is snug and stays securely in place as it should be. The elastic on the mop is soft as it should be, removes water without leaving streaks. However, if dirt gets on the wiper blade, it naturally leaves streaks. As with any scraper, you may need to wipe away very fine particles of dirt that build up on the blade during use. That should be obvious, but I also encountered this situation before wiping the blade with a paper towel. The good thing is that they also give you a spare blade. Very satisfied with the product.
