Review on Glyph Atom RAID SSD Silver (External USB-C by Joe Stax

Bought the 2TB version during the Black Friday sale for $429 which is a STEAL considering it was $800 a few months ago (now $629). First off, this SSD is INCREDIBLY FAST. I'm using it with a 2016 15" MacBook Pro. On the Black Magic Disk speed test, I get 833MB/s write and 880MB/s read. Add SSD and it took 52 seconds. Do the math backwards...45GB/52 Seconds equals 0.865 (GB/s), which makes sense because it's 865 (MB/s), which is even faster than the 833 (MB/s) write speed I had in the Black Magic hard drive speed test just insane This drive transfers 86.5% of 1GB every second Only $429 for 2TB of it was a bargain It's totally worth the usual $629
