Review on Efficient and Simple Kelaro Tankless Water Heater Flushing Kit with Vinegar Descaler by Clete Dean

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very easy to use and works well, parts can be bought separately cheaper

The first time I hired a plumber to flush a water heater I watched them do it and thought it was so easy that I don't have to pay anyone for it. The cost of this kit is about half the cost of a plumbing service. It was very easy to use and worked well. Came with good and clear color coded instructions. I had some issues with the hose adapter on top of the pump. I had to tighten the bottom to attach the hose without twisting the top connector. Looking at what I got I could get individual parts for a lot less. At Revain, a submersible pump costs $40 to $70. The hose costs 10-20 dollars. A bucket is a bucket - $4. If I were to buy individual parts I would spend anywhere from $64 to $114 depending on whether I was going for the cheapest or the most expensive parts. With that in mind, I feel the price is at a higher level, not such a good deal.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
