I have wanted this brand for a long time. This particular model sold for less than half the price so I was excited to snap it up. I have to say that I am very disappointed. The rice quality is worse than my $10 rice cooker. I have cooked rice with their other models, it was amazing, but this particular model does not live up to expectations. Not what I expected from this brand, maybe that's why it was in the super sale. I make rice every day and have been experimenting with it for over 20 years. I cooked Persian rice in a cheap pot and made friends with Korean, Thai, Pakistani, Japanese, Chinese and Bengali friends who shared their family secrets. This high quality rice farmer fails in comparison every time. I've been experimenting with this for a few months and use very high quality rice varieties. Add more water, less water, oil, oil, wash, don't wash. Do not buy this product, it is complete rubbish.
