As the pandemic forced most people to work from home, I found myself missing my colleagues, students, and even the quiet time the commute gave me. What I didn't realize was that I would miss the second monitor I had in the office. I evaluate work, create presentations, analyze data with SPSS and Excel. No games or intense graphics work. A few weeks ago I was in alt-tab hell switching between windows and realized I didn't have a second monitor. So I bought it as a second monitor to the 24 inch monitor I've had in my home office for years (so many years that I can't remember when I bought it). ACER is a great second monitor. easy - less than 10 minutes to open the box, attach the monitor to the stand and connect it to your computer. I hooked it up to my Dell desktop via HDMI, hit the power button, Windows automatically detected "Monitor 2" and I was off and running. The color temperature on the two monitors is slightly different, but that's not a critical factor. If I were starting from scratch and not wanting to buy a 27 inch curved monitor, I would probably pick two of these ACERs.
