This mounting hardware float was a complete disappointment. Electronics should be secure, but this product just couldn't keep my transducer from moving. As my tests showed, it simply failed to secure the device in place, making it a total waste of money. The only upside was that the float component did seem to work, but that's not worth the investment. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone in need of reliable marine electronics mounting solutions.
