These plastic jars are ideal for storing our spices. They are clear so I can see how much we have and when we need more. Plastic and not fragile like glass so fingers won't get cut. We shop more than usual at the nearest family store, which sells various sizes of spices not available in grocery stores. Extra oregano is always better! Their containers are small round deli cups/lids that work well in a store but not in my small storage room. We've sorted out what we don't use and filled it with what we do use, freeing up shelf space. However, there is a caveat. The holes in the lid are bigger, so I've learned to shake jars a little easier with, for example, cinnamon or celery seeds.
