Fits '11 Altima Interior Nicely

Got this dash kit for my '11 Altima to convert the factory radio. The most important thing to know about this kit is that the "look/feel" of the plastic is pretty good. While it doesn't quite match the original plastic's grooved design, it still has a finish that isn't smooth and dull, so it doesn't look like an obvious aftermarket product. On the negative side, the side supports that hold the main unit don't make it easy to attach screw holes to the main unit. I had to drill some holes to get them through the plastic material of the grille. Not bad, but still unexpected. Wiring Harnesses: First, note that you need to make sure your vehicle has steering wheel controls. If so, the wiring harness included in this kit will not work for you. For the antenna harness that came with the unit, be sure to connect the blue wire to the main unit's "Antenna Power" wire. Even if you don't have a power antenna (and who does?), this cable is needed to power the amplifier that boosts the performance of the antenna. If it is not connected, there is no reception. Overall not bad.
