Review on 🎮 PS3 Controller 2 Pack: Upgraded Wireless Motion Sense Dual Vibration Gaming Controllers with Charging Cord for Sony Playstation 3 by Santiago Serrano

I may regret writing a Day 1 review. Short version: This round I got normally working controllers. Not as accurate as the Sony controller. I bought two packs from KujianStore in case this review ends up in other controller reviews. Joysticks are a bit heavier with a wider dead zone (if I had to pick a number I'd say 15%) but allow for walking when the game allows, cursor selection and bow mechanic games or first person shooters unless you're shooting with a sniper rifle or you don't need real thumb precision like Sony Playstation 3/4 controllers (haven't tried the PS5 controller yet). The joystick is also firm enough that I can constantly use the menu wheels in Genshin Impact or Mass Effect (compared to the Voyee and Vinonda brands of Dual Shock 3 gamepad). Extended version: My official Sony gamepad has served flawlessly after 8+ years and let's just say I was looking for a suitable playstation 3 gamepad replacement just to avoid a long backstory. My message to all consumers on this journey: 1) Don't order an official Sony branded PS3 controller online from Revain or GameStop, you may end up with a non-Sony brand and pay Sony's price. Head to a physical store like GameStop to find it if you want, then check the face buttons and back of the controller for Sony branding. 2) If you need a competitive first person shooter. This gamepad is not for you. The right joystick is enough to use bow mechanics like in Nioh, Horizon Dawn or Genshin Impact. 3) Buttons and joysticks require a bit more force to operate/push/move. This may take some time to get used to. In other words, joysticks are heavier and/or more rigid. You probably won't get as much joystick drift from the Voyee brand, and they offer more accuracy than the Vinonda brand. 4) If you are looking for Sony badges/labels you may need to buy or make controller stickers/labels for Playstation 3 5) I was able to get two controllers of average to good quality, although one is slightly more responsive than the other fresh from the Box. If you purchased a controller with joystick drift or you are unable to run in a 3D game where walking creates a smooth tilt, please return the controller to the seller and try again. There's another tip for "growing up" by accepting a poor quality product or experience. There's nothing adult about it. IF you are one of those consumers who received a bad version of this product (e.g. rumble when connected directly, inability to hold a charge, joystick drift making you look to the right, spooky button presses), search you for an exchange. Now specifically for PC, if you're not a fan of vibration at all AND using it on a Windows PC, you can use third-party SCP (SCP Toolkit Settings Manager) drivers to turn off rumble or adjust other settings (rumble, LED, block inbuilt game support etc.) .) I hope this helps someone. Verdict: Other non-Sony DualShock 3 controllers I've tried over the past few months had significant issues on day one. . The more responsive of the two controllers behaves well and I hope I don't have a reason to update this review. Update, day not 1: I spoke too soon. Less than a week passed and the left joystick slowly began to drift to the right. Wouldn't trust a fighting game or if you're trying to aim at something as movement is enough to break it up. Okay update 2 it's gotten worse in the last 10 minutes. I took this time to go through the calibration and noticed that some buttons require a firmer press to activate. For example, my normal in-game press doesn't register, and I have to go to great lengths to register controls on multiple buttons. 1 month review: The controllers didn't last a month before either starting to drift on their own in directions that were becoming problematic, or typically requiring a much harder button press to register as the button press was usually unresponsive. Another star deducted so down to 2 stars because the controllers eventually worked and would have liked to have had that kind of experience but. preferably longer than a month.
