Review on Thin Lite Fluorescent Single Light Fixture by Erin Jackson

I have just received two of these lights and will be returning them. They are not as depicted or described by Revane. Real lanterns have about half of the exposed surface area covered with faux wood grain plastic. The other half is a translucent light lid. They look very gaudy and I suspect the half and half design reflects the light unevenly in one direction. They might be ok like under backlights where stickiness and directivity wouldn't matter much. I think the image is a generic image of some sort of regular fluorescent light. The nature of online shopping requires that we present a product based on images and descriptions. There was no indication of a light colored half clad in faux wood either in the picture or in the description. I think Revain just got lazy. I checked the manufacturer afterwards and found it to be Thin-Lite 111 so Revain sent the model listed in the title but it wasn't the light pictured. or described.
