I learned a lot! 𧲠Magnetic attraction has a LOT to do with the total surface area of the magnet 𧲠rather than magnetic strength per unit volume.I have a couple of REALLY strong neodymium magnets. They are much stronger per unit area. That said, the total pull of this magnet is significant. I could not remove it from the side of my refrigerator without sliding it to the top and even then, I turned over a fingernail. That said, by magnetic strength by unit volume I would not recommend it as the magnet suitable for scientific research where maximum magnetism per unit area is required.This magnet is probably sufficient for magnet fishing.
