Review on Zalman Z3 M ATX πŸ’» Tower Computer: A Compact and Powerful Machine by Momchil Ninov ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, not disappointed.

I am satisfied with the hulls, because took it for 2.5k. Weaknesses are tolerable. Now at a cost of +4k, I would consider different options.

Pros
  • Read the review if functionality is more important to you than appearance. - I put 5 different motherboards in it for half a year. ATX, mATX, old on 1155, amd fx, and new on 1151v2. With different locations of sata ports, etc. Everything was convenient to connect and mount. Enough space. And there are no restrictions on the length of the card, the whole body is the length of the card. The only thing is that it is better to connect the wires for the power buttons and usb before placing the motherboard in the case. It will be hard to see and ATX boards get up right next to the PSU. - Good air intake on the front panel, unlike most other cases. - Plenty of space on the back cover for thick PSU wires. Multiple cutouts for different cable management options. Someone wrote that there is nowhere to put the extra wires from the PSU - they can be tied up and tied with a clamp near the PSU to the Hdd mounts. - High-quality plastic and metal, nothing accidentally breaks off inside and out. I have confidence that if you drop it, the computer will survive. The window is not glass, but this is not the same segment of the buildings. - Looks high quality, and IMHO: no lgbt backlight on fans for schoolchildren.
Cons
  • - Video card holder. AMD card owners, attention! Everything was great until I changed gtx660 to rx480 and then to rx580. The rx480 and 580 have an input for additional. the power supply is located just on the vertical line of the card holder, the wires interfere with it. As a result, you need to make holes in the case with a metal drill so that you can install the holder in another place. rx580 is heavy, I decided to put the case on the side cover for now. - Three fans for blowing air and only one for blowing in front of the case. For good cooling, on the contrary, you need three for blowing cold air, well, or at least two. - Difficult to remove front panel. To solve the second drawback with fans, you need to remove the cover and put another fan in front, since the case is designed for this. It is not intuitively clear how to remove it. My hands are crooked, I'm afraid to break, so I don't climb. - Inconvenient mount for ssd disk, which is located in the middle above the sections for hdd. Sata wires are inconvenient to stretch because of the metal in the middle. You can't mount it to the side of the wall. - Breakable rear panel plugs for video card output.
