Great for speaker wires.

These were a great way for my to added after market speakers top my car. I just used these to splice the new wire connectors into the factory wires in the car. These turned out great. I don't think you could use these with any large gauge wire, or in a space that is exposed to the elements. But for the price, these were a great option so I could keep the factory connectors.

Durability Concerns: Some customers have reported that the hand-protecting push-in lever design of the connectors can become loose or even break after frequent use, which could lead to frustrating accidents or malfunctions

Was to difficult to use very hard to push down to get the wire to sit correctly had to go back to a standard wire connection. Would not buy again
