My parrot loves his little house, I'm a little worried about cleaning it. I wiped up all the bird droppings and tossed them in the washing machine on fine linen. (I have a Maytag that doesn't have a center beater) Took it out and threw it in the dryer and it turned out great! No problem. It fits my Quaker perfectly and is very soft, I'm not sure he'll notice. But he definitely sleeps in it a lot.
