Review on πŸ’§ Berkey Light Gravity-Fed Water Filter: Purify your water with 2 Black Berkey Elements by Beny Teller

Slow but Great

The best way to take advantage of this is to simply stay ahead of your water needs. It's a slow drip and you're not going to down a tall glass of water in an hour. I've never had a gravity filter before, so I don't know how it compares to others. What can I say, the result is excellent. I set this up in my office where I also have a small ice maker on a countertop igloo. I make ice with filtered water, and as silly as it may sound, I just enjoy drinking delicious ice water throughout the day. I'm definitely drinking more water now. The tap water in our office has a very strong taste and smell of chlorine. And I try to avoid wasting bottled water. So this was the perfect solution for me. The upper tank is a little bulky and heavy when filled with water. I have found that the easiest way to keep it full is to simply have a 2 gallon jug on hand to keep it topped up. I take it apart and clean it every few weeks. I don't know if this is worth the money as I have no experience with other filters of this type. I've used pitcher filters in the past and they require more maintenance, frequent filter purchases, and don't hold enough water. This has a large capacity. I have found that if I fill it up at night I have enough ice and drinking water for the next day. It is very pleasant to drink pure, good-tasting water!
