This will not work for higher capacity double sided drives as there is only one heatsink to cool one side. But it's extremely compact when it comes to space, and should adequately cool older, single-sided m.2 drives. However, be sure to check the contents of the package. The description clearly says it comes with two silicone pads and the picture shows two pads, but my package only had one of them. We will return and try again.
