Review on 🔧 Moen 1222B Repair Part: Single Handle Posi-Temp Replacement Cartridge for Reliable Plumbing Fixes by Billy Mariner

Works as advertised. I pulled out the old cartridge with difficulty. It was in the guest bathroom so wasn't used as often as our main bathroom. Was 9 years old. The difficulty is that the plastic part that rotates the cartridge 45 degrees clockwise is flimsy. I read about it so I made sure to move it around a lot and also flip it upside down to use the new page. I almost went to the limit. Finally, the old cartridge began to rotate sufficiently, but it was not easy to pull it out. I sat in the tub with pliers on the valve stem after rotating it and applying constant pressure for a while and it pulled out. With the exception of this plastic element, this cartridge worked perfectly. I originally lost hot water because of this shower, that's how it all happened.
