This saved my power cords. I have a cat and he's a total jerk. When he's bored or irritable or happy or in need, he nibbles on things. All elements. But his favorite chew toys are electric wires. It doesn't matter that I bought hundreds of toys and gave him perches and everything. No, he only needs cables. I bought it in 1/4" size (for phone cord or mouse cord) and 1/2" size (for regular outlet or HDMI cord). My cat is still chewing on it and seems to be enjoying it more, but he hasn't managed to bite through the internal wires yet. I've had the bowl for almost two years now, so it's very good in durability! It's not always easy to put on long cords, especially when they bend a lot, but they stay in good shape after that. Tip - For example, if you have an HDMI cable, take the end of the HDMI cable (the male part) and use it at the beginning of the jacket. Place the first length of cable inside the sheath, but leave the head of the HDMI cable sticking out. Then pull that HDMI head through the sheath until you've completely wrapped the wire. Cut off the skin and you should be good to go.
