Review on πŸ’« OnePlus 8 Interstellar Glow: 5G Unlocked, 12GB RAM, 256GB Storage, 90Hz Display, Triple Camera, & Alexa Built-in by Agung Baraya ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I switched from Oneplus 3, I was pleased with the native transfer of applications - not perfect, but quite worthy (and very cool animation at the same time - like the little men of the box are transferred from screen to screen)) The edges of the display were embarrassing even when buying, but my friends assured me that I would get used to it (I still hope for it .) It is still unusual that it is narrow and long, it would be better if it was 16:9, as before . There is no port for headphones, you need an adapter, which for some reason is not included. Well, since such a trend is now (the port is being abandoned, it seems, to reduce the thickness of devices and fashion for wireless ones), then it could have been put . There are bugs - sometimes the browser freezes, then some widgets stop showing up, then suddenly it doesn’t allow changing permissions on applications (like allowing a microphone when they call on WhatsApp for the first time - everything freezes, I had to drop the call and reboot), so far it’s being solved by reboot, I hope that there will be no more serious bugs . Much has been written about the advantages, so I will not repeat)) I didn’t notice flickering and jumps in brightness / color, turned off adaptive brightness - and everything is fine

Pros
  • * power * battery * brightness and colors * build quality
Cons
  • *cameras do not match the price, as if Oneplus 3 had the same or even better * rounded screen, VERY inconvenient, characters on the edges of the keyboard are not printed all the time, and random taps just work right away, I can't get used to itπŸ˜’ * there are software bugs, [so far] not critical, but noticeable * lack of 3.5 for headphones and an adapter for usb-c for them
