Review on πŸ›οΈ Ender 3 - 235" Tempered Glass Print Bed for 3D Printer by Tone Hatton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The glass is warped.

I was really excited about these glass beds because I have a slight warping of my Ender 3 bed. I have 5 printers and ordered two packs of these glass beds because one of my printers has a glass bed from the hardware store. The excitement evaporated almost immediately, I installed the glass beds and attempted to level the bed. I thought these glass beds look nice and flat. You are not. There are multiple irregularities on the glass, ranging from central indentations to random indentations. The only way to get it to work was for the nozzle to almost scratch the bed on the outside, while having just the right amount of squelch in the center. I figured it might just be a bad bed so I fitted another one. This time I got a low seat in the top right corner of the bed. All four glass beds I received had the same or slightly better finish than my standard bed. The $3 hardware store bed is flat and I had no problems with it. I would not recommend these beds. I paid $50 for four beds when I could have spent $15 at the hardware store. The only reason I gave two stars is that with good adhesion, the pressure stays almost too good on these beds.

Pros
  • 3D printer parts and accessories
Cons
  • Big and bulky
