I bought these (at Joann's Fabrics) for myself when I wanted to do watercolor. Of course, when you start a new hobby now you want to do it cheaply and then invest later when you enjoy it. However, these colors have seriously discouraged me from continuing to paint at all. They're chalky, thin, don't mix well, and dry too quickly. Keep your money and look for the best palette.
