Very child friendly
Ideal for sharpening large baby crayons and regular Crayola crayons. It is also great for sharpening wooden school pencils. I also like that the blades have a medal so I know they will last. And it has a lid that you have to open to get to the holes, so little kids' fingers don't have to try to get their fingers into the hole of a larger sharpener. The only thing I don't like about this sharpener is that it's difficult to take apart and open to spill the chips. But it snaps in nice and tight. Overall a great product despite the plastic.
