Bought this to sharpen my toddler's oversized crayons with precision. Works great and all large crayons (various brands) fit nicely in the largest hole and the bin collects all the chips without making a mess. It's easy to dump, but it's also secure so it hasn't accidentally opened yet and spilled shavings or whatever.

Ideal for sharpening large baby crayons and regular Crayola crayons. It is also great for sharpening wooden school pencils. I also like that the blades have a medal so I know they will last. And it has a lid that you have to open to get to the holes, so little kids' fingers don't have to try to get their fingers into the hole of a larger sharpener. The only thing I don't like about this sharpener is that it's difficult to take apart and open to spill the chips. But it snaps in nice and tight…

I bought this sharpener for my little girls and I am very happy with it. I wanted a hand sharpener with holes of different sizes. I needed a very large hole for triangular colored pencils and this is exactly what I was looking for as it has a "big" hole along with two smaller holes. It has a hinged lid to keep the shavings from falling out. There is a spacious container for chips. It's almost 2.5" x 2.5".
