Review on 🐿️ Lullaby Squirrel Pull Musical Crib and Baby Toy by Manhattan Toy by Chris Nastanovich

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The first was great. The second could be haunted?

I received this item as a gift and although I think it should be hung on a car seat or crib to play music to soothe baby, we use it as part of our bedtime routine to keep the baby waking up and going to sleep. I don't know how well that would work for a standalone toy. When you pull the squirrel out, a song will play while the squirrel returns to the acorn. When the squirrel's movement is stopped - as if it weren't perfectly aligned with the acorn - the music stops. Getting to work isn't SUPER hard, but I think it can be a little frustrating for a kid. It never caused any problems when we used it at night; we just shook him a little and he started playing again. In fact, we liked it so much we bought a second one to give to our grandparents. However, the second one we received had a small defect. A note in the lullaby was a bit flat, causing the beautiful lullaby to turn into a spooky carnival. It was only one note and most of the song was still good so I tried to save it but it was really worrying as after 2 hours I decided we should bring it back. It was out of stock protein and to be honest I find it a bit pricey for what it is so I bought something else instead. We love what we have so it makes a good gift - just listen to the song before you give it to someone else!
