This is the FIRST printer I have ever bought and installed. I was looking for a basic all-in-one printer to use for stationery and sheet music when I came across this one for $20! I was worried it would be junk, but I thought hey, whatever it is, it's only $20. BUT, this printer is not garbage at all! I've just started using it, but so far it's fantastic! The cartridges gave me no problems and could be inserted directly into the small slots without any problems. The attitude wasn't that bad. I tend to get frustrated very quickly when setting up electronics. But it was my first time setting up a printer, it really wasn't that bad. I used the direct Wi-Fi option because it seemed the easiest to me and went to the HP website for a step-by-step driver installation. It only took about 10 minutes! They also offer a free trial of Instant Ink for 2 months at the end of the installation. I didn't use this as I plan to use this printer infrequently and will most likely only use black ink. As I said, working papers, notes and sometimes a return label. So far this printer is perfect for me and I am very satisfied! I'll be sure to update you on how long the temporary cartridges last and if anything goes wrong.
