This makes the deck really beautiful! I used it to install a 2x4 cedar deck and it worked really well. I didn't have to pre-drill the boards and it handled slightly warped boards quite well (I gave up boards with large imperfections). It's very strong and I was able to use it to position most boards myself, either using some flat bars to fine tune the spacing (3/16 inch) or by holding the boards until the screws were in place were. , it takes a lot more time than just driving screws through the top of the planks, but the clean look with no chips or visible screw caps is definitely worth it. I can't stress enough how durable it is - I installed 1400 square feet of decking including steps and curbs and it still looks almost brand new Plus while I bought snaps when I needed a few extras I just went to Home Depot and receive a small box (they cost a little more than online, but without waiting for mail delivery).
