Difficult to use with hand tools
When fitted they are sturdy and work reasonably well. The latch doesn't hold very well at all and they break all the time before you get where you want. You end up having to squeeze and hold it with both hands while trying to maneuver. The triangular interior moves a lot. So you're pushing down on the taut, spring-loaded device with both hands, somehow moving the inner strut. Wouldn't recommend her.
Pros
- sets of 4 woodworking clamps can be used with one hand. This allows the clamp to be opened with one hand while the other hand is free for the workpiece, saving labor time and reducing labor. Good for quick and easy fixing of boards and frames at 90 degree angles, screwing or gluing boards.
