Assembly required, easy installation.
The only thing that bothers me is that they might have assembled it before shipping. Pretty easy to put together, although there are a few steps missing from the instructions. Just installed today so haven't had a chance to see if it helps with gas mileage. Pleasant purr and about 5-10 additional horses. Happy with my purchase.
