I love the way they look, they've had lots of compliments and they are one of a kind! From that point of view they are fantastic. In terms of their actual performance, they're better than you might think, but not as good as they could be. The lack of laces has never been a problem, I feel my feet are very secure in them. My biggest concern is the grip. I had to wipe my soles more than I should for new shoes even though the court I played on was quite dusty. I think I would buy them again because they work well and small functional issues are worth their looks. For the record, I've worn the Lebron Soldier 11 before and I think they were slightly better in terms of functionality.
