For starters. i am a technician I found it annoying when using this flashlight. For a switch. Every time I used it, it kept moving. So I find my light is fading. (I've never heard of a flashlight selector switch separate from the power button). I think it's stupid of me to omit that when buying. I thought it was the ON/OFF BUTTON. Also, the magnet is not strong enough to hold the flashlight in one place. I would try sticking it to a metal door panel and then releasing it. Well, here's a flashlight on the floor! I found that when trying to use it under dashboards, the flashlight didn't illuminate what I needed to see. But for it to shine on what I didn't need to see, or for it to shine in my eyes. Another thing is that the battery life is short. After about 1.5 hours of use, the battery indicator will show one of four dots and the light will dim. I've found cheaper flashlights that last longer.
