I decided to size up in these based off of the size chart, because I didn’t want them to be too tight around my stomach at the waist. This was a mistake - they’re way too big at the lower calf and foot, about fit my thighs, and are really, really tall at the waist. I definitely recommend ordering based on the company’s chart.One thing to note is that these do have shaped feet - which is great, except I have small feet so the foot part is a couple inches too long. Because of the compression I can’t just scoot the foot part up my ankle either, so I’m left with extra fabric at the toe. If you have average feet they might work great, just something to keep in mind.The waistband came up way too high on me (chest height) and as you can see it’s about 12” from the crotch to the top waistband. That’s also measured before they’re stretched, so when worn it’s even higher. If you are tall these might fit better. For me, as a petite person I found that to be uncomfortable (on top of the fit issues which were definitely my fault).Overall, these seem to be good quality. I wouldn’t recommend the beige version unless you plan to wear things over them. The material is a rather unflattering orange/tan mesh, and I think black would look a lot better. I’d recommend following the size chart and ordering the black, and you might have better luck with the fit than I did.
