I think I'm being too rough with things
After being pierced, it holds water pretty well. Now I have to say I'm on the 1st pair. maybe others are more durable ;) but after a few days I had holes. I try to be careful, but I put my forks, spoons, and knives upside down in different mugs to wash, sort, and clean them before putting them in the washing machine. easier to put away, and yes, I'm a bit of a freak. so i try not to screw it up. other brands seemed to last longer for me
