TLDR: Flint wears out very quickly and is almost impossible to replace if you're not careful. At first the lighter worked fine. The biggest problem I have is that the flint wears out in less than 2 weeks. They are also not intended as a simple replacement for flint. I had to shave off the standard size flint and was eventually able to install it. As I said, the process was not easy because they are not easy to replace. Too bad I didn't know this before buying as I would have looked around for a better product. The second flint was a little later because it came from a burnt lighter, but even then it had been less than a month. I would not buy this lighter again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a non-flashlight refillable lighter.
