I have used this laser level for so many things, I have a large laser level and a large tripod and pole. There's just a lot of things to tweak. The skill laser gave me a USB port for fast charging, and it's also small and easy to use. Just go up to about 3 degrees from the spirit level and turn it on to unlock the laser so it levels itself. You have a 4-sided horizontal line and a forward-facing vertical line, with the push of a button you can switch between the two, one or the other. so easy to use. I know you can't see past the drywall, but if you could you could see all of the electrical wiring for the entire 2000 feet I ran neatly and straight. I used horizontal lines to drill holes through the studs and if you look closely you can see that all of my dowels are perfectly aligned and lined up. I didn't have to get out a tape measure, didn't have to mark each post for exact height, it was just a huge time saver and made this installation so easy and quick, just line it up and go through and drill the electrical holes, install the switch boxes, it doesn't matter Roller it was just quick easy to use and inexpensive, I bought a green laser as I can see it better in daylight. I had a lot of daylight on the walls, I'm 14 feet. tall and 18 feet. large opening of the garage door so that it lets in a lot of light. I was still able to use the laser at 15-20 feet now with lots of sunlight hitting the walls. As the sun moved west and the garage was in shadow, I could see the lines pretty much anywhere with no problem. It's not a high-tech device, but I'd definitely like it again. Great quality, easy to use, if you drop it and break it, you won't lose 5 or 6 hundred bucks like my outdoor rating level. This is just a practical and useful spirit level for indoor carpenters. I highly recommend this block from my personal experience.
