Great idea but very disappointed

Not only is my stovetop greasy every time I fry something, but the floor around my stovetop is greasy and I have to mop the floor every time! I tried everything I could think of to avoid wiping the kitchen floor while frying something, including putting large towels on the bottom of the stove, but the grease always ended up on the floor one way or another. I was so excited when I saw this product! I don't give a damn about the fat on the stove. I'm only interested in the fat on the floor. So this weekend I finally had time to test my new frywall. I had 6 bone-in pork chops which my husband really wanted me to cook. He loves them rolled in flour and fried in vegetable oil and the MAN makes a greasy mush so I hardly cook them lol. I ALMOST went ahead and put the towels on the floor "just in case" but figured I wouldn't know if it would work or not if I did. Installing the frywall in the pallet was easy. If you follow the instructions that come with it, it's very easy as far as I can tell. I also found that cooking with the frywall was no problem at all. I thought it would be difficult to cook with such a big thing sticking out of the pan, but for me it wasn't a problem at all. After I finished cooking the pork chops and didn't even look for grease on the stovetop, I decided to hand wash the frywall just to get it out of the way. My original plan was to just pop it in the dishwasher and let the dishwasher do its job, but figured I didn't want to smell lard every time I opened the dishwasher until the dishwasher was full enough to run. Although Frywall is good at hand washing, it was quite difficult to do so. But if I didn't have fat on the floor, everything would be fine! As long as it does what I bought it for, I'd love to hand wash it if I have to! Now it's time to see the results. Surprisingly, there was very little fat on my stove! After all the research I did before purchasing the Frywall, and reading review after review from people who said their flock was fat free, I had very little. My oven wasn't completely covered in fat as usual, but there was a lot of it. Now on the floor. POOH! Yes, there was quite a bit of grease on my kitchen floor. I was and still am shocked. Also, while I was cooking the pork chops, my husband kept coming back to the stove to see how it worked and since the fat appeared to be on the floor in front of the stove, he stood in the fat without realizing it and then pursued it continue throughout the kitchen! So I had to wipe down the kitchen with Dawn. TWICE. Just to clean everything up lol. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted to love this product. I just knew that the inventor of Frywall changed my frying life! But unfortunately this did not happen. The only thing I can think of that would make a difference (at least for me) would be to make it about a foot taller in the pan! Hahahahaha

Pros

Cons
