Review on 🐠 Tetra Whisper IQ Power Filter with Advanced Quiet Technology for Aquariums by Katrina Dorsey

In general, I like the filter. This is a 45 gallon model. My aquarium is pretty quiet. I use it in combination with a Hydro-Sponge III filter and power head. But after a couple of weeks, I removed the cover from the Whisper IQ and the water was about to spill over the back of the unit. Exactly what others have mentioned. The problem is simple. The filter is set too high. But using a utility knife to remove part of the bottom of the filter frame seems to have solved the potential overflow problem. It is important to ensure that the filter sits as deep as possible in the pump/filter housing. I've attached a few photos showing the conversion. Too bad Tetra hasn't addressed this yet.
