Review on 🍢 Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with AUTOSPOUT - Coleman Switch by Robert Blanton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

New cover, who is that? in Sports & Outdoors Accessories

I dropped my old Coleman on the kitchen tile and the insulation got damaged, a bummer. Bought new and wanted to share some comparison photos. The aluminum cylinder looks the same, so I gave it a 3 (IMHO, the insulation shouldn't be broken by a 4ft drop onto the kitchen floor). The big change is the lid, which is smoother but unfortunately not better. It seems more difficult to clean (the old one had a cantilever connector that allowed access to the lid from the back). In addition, the silicone drinking spout has just introduced another element to be cleaned, where the old lid is simpler and more durable. Also the new cap sits tight on the straw which is a shame for me as I prefer to tilt my water bottle vertically. I took out the straw and compared the pour speed by tipping both and it took about twice as long (it took 11 seconds for 1 cup of water with the old lid and 21 seconds with the new one). Honestly, could I just put the old cap on the new bottle? It's a bit tricky and if Coleman is reading this I'd really like to replace the old model cap. pretty please But most importantly, it's a solid product, made in America, and has been with me on some great adventures. Def recommend this over any of the similar Hydroflask or Yeti products.
